Al Husn One Bedroom Suite offer expansive, contemporary luxury with an Arabian-inspired décor, and are ideal for guests travelling as a group or who require extra space and amenities. Each suite has panoramic views of the Gulf of Oman, and offers a separate sitting room ideal for intimate gatherings.
Guests of the Al Husn Hotel enjoy exclusive dining, bar and beach areas and a personal butler service. The distinctive bathroom features a separate shower cubicle and soaking tub, designed with sliding glass panels for the enjoyment of sea views whilst relaxing in the bath.

Hotel Restaurants and Bars
Shangri-La's Barr Al Jissah Resort and Spa offers a wide choice of dining at each of it's three hotels. At the Al Waha, enjoy the culinary theatre and Latin flavours of Samba, or pick up a child-friendly meal at the Surf Café.

Al Bandar is home to Capri Court, featuring contemporary Italian cuisine, as well as Tapas & Sablah, an outdoor dining experience complete with live entertainment. Al Tanoor features an evocative Arabian atmosphere that creates an engaging dining experience at each of our many open culinary stations.

Two culinary high points of Oman may be found at the Al Husn: Sultanah, a stylish restaurant with a luxury cruise theme, and Shahrazad, the only authentic Moroccan restaurant in Muscat, which serves traditional Moroccan cuisine in a contemporary and refined setting.

Fitness Centre:
Fully-equipped Fitness Centre offers stunning views over the beach and out to sea, and includes a sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi. It is open from 6am to 11pm daily.

Tennis Courts:
The resort offers guests four tennis courts, open from 8am to 10pm daily.

Private Beaches:
The main beach is a one-kilometre expanse of warm golden sand washed by the cool turquoise waters of the Gulf of Oman. Down a short path you'll find Turtle Beach, a smaller, secluded beach at the edge of the mountains.
The main beach offer bathrooms, showers, beach loungers, umbrellas, towels, and bar service with light snacks. The beaches and facilities are for the private use of guests.

Pools:
The resort has three expansive, cooled swimming pools, open from 6am to 8pm each day: Al Waha, Al Bandar, and a private pool for guests of the Al Husn Hotel. The adjacent pool bars offer light snacks, cocktails and refreshing drinks. The pools at Al Waha and Al Bandar are connected by the Lazy River.

Lazy River:
Inspired by the centuries-old falaj system that brought fresh water to remote Omani villages, the Lazy River winds for a delightful half-kilometre between the Al Bandar and Al Waha hotels.

Adults-Only Areas:
To protect the safety of small children and provide a relaxed atmosphere for adults, certain areas of the resort, such as the in-hotel bars, the CHI spa villas, and the Xyro nighclub, are reserved for adults only.

Little Turtles Kids Club:
Located in the Al Waha Hotel in the heart of the resort, Little Turtles provides both air-conditioned/indoor and outdoor play areas, both under trained supervision.

The minimum age for children using the Kid's Club is 4 years old and in case of children younger than 4 years old, they should be accompanied by a nanny or parents.

Little Turtles is open from 9.30am to 6pm.

Teens Club:
In the Al Bandar Hotel, Teens Club (13-16 years old) is a special part of the resort just for young adults.

Children's Pool:
The children's pool, open from 6am to 8pm, is located beside the Circles Pool at Al Bandar.

Omani Heritage Village:
Children will especially enjoy the chance to get close to authentic Arabian horses and camels at this unique cultural centre.

Diving Information
Dive Centre:
The EURO-DIVERS dive centre, a PADI 5 Star Gold Palm Resort, welcomes beginners and certified divers for daily scuba diving trips for one and/or two dives. Our experienced instructors teach all courses from Scuba Diver to Dive Master level in several languages.

Courses start in the hotel pool and later move to the ocean to discover the rich waters of the Arabian Sea, full of corals, fishes, turtles and other sea life.

Extremely popular are our daily dolphin excursions, snorkelling trips and sunset cruises.

Beginners Courses:
Different courses starting twice a week providing PADI worldwide accepted certifications completed in only two days (PADI Scuba Diver).

Oman lies in a unique region in which many coastal areas are still relatively untouched and unexplored, and new discoveries both on the land and in the sea are waiting to be made. You may choose from a variety of nature activities and excursions. All are planned and conducted with sensitivity to it's unique ecosystem.

Dolphin & Whale Watching:
More than twenty different species of cetacean make their home in the Gulf of Oman, and the waters off Muscat are particularly rewarding for the viewer. Viewing trips depart from the Dive Centre regularly.

Turtle Nesting:
From January to June, you may have the special opportunity to observe Greenback and Hawksbill sea turtles nesting, laying eggs or hatching. In recent years, over 100 mother turtles have been observed nesting in the area.
